The year is coming to an end, but we are not stopping.

As the year draws to a close, it is important to lock backward to move forward. It’s a great time to look upon the objectives achieved last year, savor our accomplishments, appreciate how far we have come, and start thinking about how to improve further and where to go next .

Above all: 33.387 new titles for the “Archaeological Bibliography” in 2022, again the best result ever.

But without your continued interest in our databases and services, your support and indications our work would not have been possible. We take this opportunity to thank you all.

We are determined to continue to analyse and reference in the most complete way striving for data quality as we do for quantity trying to serve our community with the best achievable data in a professional way. “Archaeological Bibliography” is growing constantly year after year, week after week. We have added ca. 8500 new links to full texts, referencing more and more doi-links going towards a kind of fulltext database with the intension to facilitate your research.

In December we have evaluated 123 new monographs and  53 new volumes of periodicals, gaining 1673 new titles for the “Archaeological Bibliography ”. You want to know what’s new in Classical Archaeology? Below you will find the list of new monographs and periodicals which were referenced during the last month. We offer the list of monographs as pdf to simplify the printout. The list of new periodicals has been supplemented with links to the online editions of the respective journals – in addition to the links to the online resources.
